With an FTP client (or by any other means of access to your hosting space), go to the config/ directory retrieve the file connect.php on your computer and delete it or change its name. If it exists, also delete the .htaccess file. Then follow the standard configuration procedure by visiting http://example.com/ecrire/ (see article 84). To connect to the database, use the login and password contained in the old connect.php file if necessary.
Important: the reinstallation procedure doesn’t erase the database (sections, articles, etc.). It simply re-creates an administrator access to the site with correct login files.
