SPIP reconnaît un certain nombre de formats de fichier dans sa boucle DOCUMENTS.
Lorsque SPIP ne reconnaît pas une extension le fichier est zippé pour des raisons de sécurité. Cela évite par exemple que le script d’un fichier php soit exécuté lors de l’ajout de ce fichier aux documents joints (d’un article ou d’une rubrique).
Si vous désirez ajouter un format de fichier supplémentaire, par exemple un powerpoint (pps), vous devez ajouter ce format à la table spip_types_documents de votre base de données par l’intermédiaire de phpMyAdmin [1].
